See the real reasons why Funke Akindele and 'Toyo Baby' parted ways

Following the controversies surrounding the departure of Juliana Olayode, who plays Toyo Baby on Jenifa’s Diary, there have been several rumours surrounding the departure

According to TNS, Funke Akindele cut off Toyo Baby from the widely watched TV series over what was termed as ‘bad pay’.

A source disclosed that Olayode and Funke parted ways after the former requested from a pay rise from Funke who felt that she’s an ingrate considering the fact that Olayode rose to stardom through her appearance on the comedy show.

We learnt from our sources close to SceneOneProductions, producers of Jenifa’s Diary, further revealed to TNS that the producer of the show, Funke Akinkele via her production manager and younger sister – Abimbola – pays actors between N3,000 and N150,000 (per episode/season of the show) depending on the role.

An actress who spoke to TNS under the condition of anonymity via text message narrated how she was paid what she termed ‘peanuts’ by Akindele’s team after being part of an all-night party scene on Jenifa’s Diary.

She said
"I got a text message from Sceneone Productions that I had been selected to act on Jenifa’s Diary and I will be part of a party scene. I was so excited that I told my entire family about it. Mind you, it wasn’t my 1st time acting but d feeling of being on Jenifa’s diary was a big deal for me. I was asked to come with 5 different party costumes. Location was Amen Estate, Eleko.
After filming with over 30 girls the whole night, Funke came to address us and advice that money shouldn’t be our priorities at this stage; that was when it occurred to me that something awkward was about to happen….just then, the Production Manager, Mr Osmond whispered something to Funke’s sister, Abimbola & she started paying us each 3K. Can u imagine?, 3K for all night shoot!…on Jenifa’S DIARY!… I was so mad, some of us had to turn down the money shaa….couldn’t face my mom to explain to her wat happened the next morning."

Nigerian couple set for divorce just after a week of marriage

A young man is said to be sad and disheartened after his marriage of less than a week, is heading for divorce. He shared his story on a popular forum to get advice from people.

Read his story below:
Dear members…I am of the type that says NO to bringing marital shortcomings to the social media but I just realized why others do so.

I formerly got married on Tuesday 18th April but we are already headed for a bitter divorce. To cut the story short, the whole issue started at the ground of our traditional marriage (Igba Nkwu).

On arriving her dad’s compound, I was stunned to realize her mother didn’t make the provisions of which I paid her for. The DJ wasn’t on ground, the canopies were just 3 and looking dirty, the chairs were not up to half of what i paid for. There was no light, no microphone, no decorations, the few food cooked were not served to guest and I was devastated.

Out of anger and disappointment, I started lashing out at my wife and she broke down in tears begging me for forgiveness. We managed to forge ahead till the the ceremony ended and we headed for my house.

As our tradition demands, the newly married bride sees off her ‘Aso Ebis’ and return in the evening same day to welcome visitors. But alas, my wife went and never came back till Friday evening.

I queried her on her where-about only for her reply in a harsh manner saying “where do you expect me to be”, “don’t make me angry” God!! I couldn’t believe it as it made me more mad in anger so I asked her to return to wherever she’s coming from and leave our son behind (yes we already had a year and 10 months old son). I actually made this decision to save face else how do I clarify the absence of my wife and son to visitors and well-wishers trooping in to see them?

She hurriedly dashed into the room and picked her phone and stormed out of the house. Now her mother is accusing me of taking her daughter’s son from her and stripping her of her belongings.

Now my wife is saying she’s no longer interested in the marriage likewise her people (her father is late). I am still fuming with anger that I am at loss of what to do. I am not prepared to raise my son alone neither do I want him to be raised by her mother alone.

Should I initiate a peace move and apologize to her or should I move on with life…..I am seriously confused and fuming with anger that I was shortchanged and offended and still expected to offer apologies.

Meet 37 year old mother who has 38 children.....

A 37-year-old mother in Kabimbiri village, Mukono District in Uganda has given birth to 38 children. Villagers have given the mother, Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye, the nickname of Nalongo Muzaala Bana, which means “the twin mother who produces quadruplets.”
In what must be some sort of record, Mariam has six sets of twins, four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets and two single births.

In a recent interview with a Ugandan daily, she said: “My father gave birth to 45 children with different women and [they] all came in quintuplets, quadruplets, twins and triplets.”
Mariam says her father had 45 children, many of whom came in quintuplets, quadruplets and twins.
Dr Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital confirms that Mariam may have taken after her father, as her case may be genetic.
He said: “Her case is genetic predisposition to hyper-ovulate (releasing multiple eggs in one cycle), which significantly increases the chance of having multiples.”
Mariam said she was married off at an early age and she gave birth for the first time at the age of 13 to twins.
She said she sought medical advice several times in a bid to stop having children but doctors advised her that since she produces so many eggs, it would be dangerous to her health.
However, Dr Kiggundu said Mariam was not well advised, because doctors could easily have performed tubal ligation as a permanent method of contraception.
Moreover, Mariam has a non-supportive husband who is rarely there for her and her children. Her eldest son, Charles Musisi, 23, confirmed: “Our siblings do not know what father looks like. I last saw him when I was 13 years old and only briefly at night because he rushed off again.”
As a parting shot, Mariam advised parents to never sell their children off to early marriage and men to look after their wives and children

More shockimg claims by an anonymous user about how Freeze impregnated his friend's wife, a mother of 4

The anonymous social media user behind the Andela Smith profiles on Twitter and Instagram has made more shocking claims and revelations regarding the relationship between OAP Freeze and his fiancee, Benedicta Elechi.
Recall that the social media user had some days ago alleged that the OAP was sleeping with married women, snatching wives from their husbands and accused him of impregnating another man’s wife.
The personality behind the Andela Smith took to social media to allege further that the OAP’s fiancee, Benedicta Elechi is OAP Freeze’s best friend’s wife.
The anonymous social media user wrote: “Apparently, Freeze lied to his ‘bae’ about him not being married. And his ‘bae’ lied to him about her being separated. Hmmn! Both parties lying to themselves and a child is born amidst the wave of lies! Una matter don dey court now. #FreeTheSheeple indeed!! You both are sheep! Such shame!
@Daddyfreeze, your response is vague and evasive and does not address the serious allegations against you. If you think you are going to keep the issue out of public view and continue to attack pastors, you are joking. Now that you have referred to the depression in your marriage (a less than smart way to attract public sympathy), all the previous publications on the breakup of your marriage are going to be recalled and carefully analyzed. This is because your answer is so inadequate, I stand by my story that you impregnated your so-called ‘bae’ in her matrimonial home.
Let me fully understand the idea behind your response. You criticize pastors and politicians yet you just emulated the exact behavior of a ‘Nigerian’ politician. I made claims and I dared you to deny them but what did you do? You resulted to insults, using over-flogged words (that you believe sound pleasant in your ears). You want me to reveal myself? So you can abuse my nose too like you did to the kind lady who refused to fall for your slimy antics? I’ll rather remain anonymous.
ARE MY CLAIMS TRUE OR NOT? I dare you to deny them! I heard you said to your equally deluded Sheeple community that you were depressed in your marriage. Lol. You were so depressed that you went around and started sleeping with your friend’s wife. A mother of 4. You even have the guts to flaunt her as your fiancée. Is that the behavior of a depressed man? You say you pledged tithes of 3.9 million to a church. Oh please! If you haven’t noticed, Nigerians are getting wiser every day. If you call out people to be accountable, you also should be accountable.
You call me a coward? Last time I checked, I wasn’t the one who resorted to claiming that my wife beats me and was proud to show marks to bloggers just to leave my marriage. That is an extremely cowardly move!
I warned you to thread softly but you tried to whip up sentiments from your ever gullible #FreeTheSheeple community. More details coming up in my next instagram post! Maybe by then, you’ll realize that I’m not kidding around.
#RevealTruth
The 1 year birthday of your cute son Jason was celebrated in a low key event on the 2nd week of May 2016 at Rhapsodys Restaurant & Nite Club: 19A, Agoro Odiyan Street, Alibert Building, Victoria Island, Lagos. It was displayed on social media. Let us subtract 1 year from that means that Jason was born on 2nd week of May 2015
Assume you started dating Benedicta (your ‘illegitimate babymama’) in January 2015 (same month you filed for divorce from your wife which is still ongoing), then your child came 5months after you started dating Benedicta. I am ready to hire the best experts to confirm the scientific feasibility of this feat even if the child was premature. Your wife packed out of your house mid 2014 when she issued a statement to deny beating you up (this still cracks me up every time) and blogs in 2014 announced the crash of your marriage linked to a mother of 4 in Port Harcourt who was still in her husband’s house as at December 2014.
I deal with facts! Facts that are visible to the blind and audible to the deaf! Please @daddyfreeze, deny this and make my day! I dare you.
Let our adorable bloggers do the math and verify for themselves. I’m not even started. #RevealTruth
Freeze had earlier claimed in a written statement that he is not accountable to anyone. By so saying, he staked the reputation of his parents, one of whom teaches other people’s children to be accountable. He also staked the reputation of @coolfmlagos his employers, who provide him a platform every Sunday morning to dish out nonsense in the guise of preaching moral rectitude to the public, particularly our impressionable youths who consider Freeze a celebrity. I immediately call on @coolfmlagos to remove him from this platform as it makes CoolFM a laughing stock. It was a management mistake not to have sacked him as they wanted to back in 2016.
@DaddyFreeze also said how he lives his life is not the business of others. I insist it is, for as long as it impacts others. Other people have been negatively impacted by his chronic adultery. 7 children, the respective estranged spouses (who have been silent- I call on them to come out, I will back them up with evidences & witnesses, photos & videos, I am ready to follow them & support them in court ), the extended families and friends… And @daddyfreeze dares to say it’s not the public’s business?! It is our business. Freeze, if you do not repent, if you do not restrain yourself from attacking pastors & churches, if you do not stop presenting yourself as an evangelist or on radio as what you are not, I am ready to mobilise mass protests to where you work and live with placards. We are ready to stop our children from attending your mother’s classes to teach them rubbish if she could not teach you to be accountable. I assume that your parents and siblings know the details of what you did and are in agreement with you that adultery is not a ‘crime’. Stop quoting the Bible, because in the Bible, it is an abominable crime. No @daddyfreeze, I’m not trying to drag you in the mud, I’m only trying to reveal how much of a hypocrite you are to your ‘fans’. #RevealTruth
@daddyfreeze, look at this copy of a 2014 email confirming the date your wife left your house. Did you send it or not? Take all your calculations from there on questions that have been raised about you and your bae, & about you and your son.
Check against the impression you sought to create when you first pasted his pictures. So it was you who pasted the picture that I only called up. Please go to Pastor Okoro: he would help you as he promised. You have been warned to stop attacking Pastors and seek forgiveness. #RevealTruth
“If the person behind this account is not a bastard, he should show his face, bloody cocksucking coward, asking me to be accountable.” ~FRZ
I’m sure you all know by now that I am not placing false allegations on @daddyfreeze. Oh and by the way, did you know that Benedicta was Freeze’s best friend’s wife?
The greatest gift that God has given mankind is the ability to think. For someone who uses an array of vulgar, toxic words and such video appearance, we don’t need a soothsayer to know that you’ll be extremely violent in person. We are not fools. Don’t come here and whip up sentiments. Can the online audience read in between the lines?
By restating that you started dating your best friend’s wife 4 months after your ex-wife deserted their matrimonial home, your estranged wife deserted her home on June 21 2014. I am 100% sure that Benedicta was still in her husband’s house as at October 2014 (I have proof to be revealed soon). So you have admitted to impregnating your friend’s wife in her matrimonial home. Very good!
Can you also explain how possible it was to give birth to Jason in May 2015 when you started dating your ‘bae’ in October 2014?
Biologically, pregnancy takes 9 months, do the math, it took you 7 months between the time of dating her (even if u impregnated her on the first day of dating her) and when she had your cute baby.
You dare say you were depressed? Except I don’t know the meaning of depression any longer, you are just a baby in a 40 year old body.
I have enough evidence to back up my claims. I dared you to deny them but you acted on impulse – without fully knowing the consequence of your actions. I’m very glad that Miss Opeyemi came out to speak for herself. Just because you are an OAP, you really think you can bully the poor woman by using social media against her? What nonsense! You think your relationship with Linda Ikeji was enough to suppress the real story? Deluded mind, thinking that the Nigerian blogsphere is only about Linda Ikeji.
You put up a show by calling your dad live and reporting the matter to him. I’ll be utterly ashamed as a parent if my son who is not fully divorced, goes around impregnating his best friend’s wife
@Daddyfreeze, you have identified your ex-wife as the source of your current dilemma, making her one of the numerous suspects on your list. Question of character? I leave you all to decide. I’m stating it here that I AM NOT WORKING FOR FREEZE’S WIFE, neither is she behind this account. I have never met her before in my life! I am a whistleblower out to unravel the truth and deliver Freeze from his bad ways… Watch out for more publications if you don’t change your ways.
Fix your life first before you talk about other people!
One more thing. To the #FreeTheSheple community and Freeze’s die-hard fans. It’s alright to be ignorant, but it’s unacceptable to be stupid!
#RevealTruth.”

Police Station rented out to Church

Security challenges is at an all time high around the Ejigbo area of Lagos, residents of the community have exposed a shocking discovery that the police station built in the area to enhance security has been abandoned and rented out to a popular church in Lagos.
The Police station was rented out to the Living Rock Ministry Church located at Omiyale Street in Ejigbo and converted it into a worship centre.
Some of the residents who spoke to PM Express said the church has been inside the station for over five years and the pastor in charge has allegedly been paying rent to subsequent DPOs who have served under the Ejigbo division.
According to them, because it was rented out to church, the police has abandoned it for the church to continue to use the station properties because of the rent accruing from it.
The information as claimed by the residents could not be independently confirm as efforts to know who let out and collected the rent on the police property from the church was abortive.
At Ejigbo police division, the DPO, CSP Okezie was not available to comment on the matter.
However, a police source told said the present DPO has asked the church to leave the station and the church itself already complied and moved out their properties.
A resident said the police was forced to take the decision when they raised alarm over the church thus the police quickly instructed the church to vacate the place.

Popular Port Harcourt Pastor weds third wife

Here’s how it was reported by Tusshspot.com…

Vibrant, Owner of a church called Apostle Ernest Agortey  is a man-of-God who doesn’t allow the Holy Scriptures tie him down. This man of God who is rumoured to really “miraculously” make things happen is actually of Ghanaian descent.

The founder of the church, Alabaster House Assembly in Rumuomoi, Port Harcourt, Apostle Ernest Agortey is a Hot Topic at the moment. This time not for his dress sense but for the brand new ‘THIRD’ wife he just acquired from Edo state as posted on his Facebook earlier this Month.

Report from sources says, a while ago during an interview with City People magazine, the Apostle reportedly narrated the reason for his failed first marriage. The flamboyant Apostle who loves to make a statement with his Lifestyle, especially his dressing and cars, revealed in that interview that his first wife, the woman who reportedly started the hustle with him, was caught sleeping with his mentor.

This story which the Apostle gave to City People magazine has been debunked by those who are in the know, for they say, marriage should be for better for worse especially for a man-of-God, these group of people have also cited Prophet Hosea as an example, emphasizing the fact that Prophet Hosea’s wife was a harlot in the Bible but God insisted Hosea stay married to her.

After his first marriage failed, Apostle Agortey then married a second wife, who our source say, is of Igbo descent and they have a daughter together. Our source revealed they were all lovey-dovey on social media at a point before the marriage again packed up.

According to our source, the second wife carted away with all the Apostle’s valuables without his knowledge when she was leaving him.

The Facebook loving Apostle couldn’t remain lonely, obviously, so he had to go all the way to Edo state to pick a third wife who has been constantly showing off on his Facebook.

This little birdie who has acted as our source has confided in us that light-skinned women seem to be the Apostle’s flavour.

We are keeping our fingers crossed, hoping this marriage endures till the end.

Happy married life Apostle Ernest.

Seven people dead in Calabar viewing center disaster...... not 30, says Police

Reports claims that at least 30 people have lost their lives after high tension electricity cable fell on the roof of a football viewing centre

According to a source, it claims that 80 people were actually in that hall when the cable came down

Though the police claims that at least seven people were killed at the viewing centre while 10 sustained severe injuries

Over 30 people were reported to have lost their lives at a football viewing centre in Calabar, Cross River state capital, after high tension electricity cable broke from its mooring and fell on the roof of the building.
According to Channels TV, the football fans were said to have assembled at the centre to watch a UEFA Europa League quarter-final match between Manchester United and Anderlecht on satellite television, a game the host won 2-1 (3-2) on aggregate to advance to the semi-final.
A survivor told The Punch that a transformer near the viewing centre located in the Iyang-Esu area of the Calabar Municipal local government area exploded during the match and this caused a high-tension cable to drop on the viewing centre
The survivor said amid sobs: “It happened during the match between Manchester United and Anderlecht. I heard a deafening bang. I rushed out to see what was happening. When I turned back to go inside the viewing centre, I saw a cable coming down on the centre and this killed the viewers in the hall.
“It was a horrible sight to behold. I wish I didn’t come out to watch the match. Come to think of it, I have DStv at home but I enjoy watching matches at viewing centres. I could have been dead. I can’t believe that the people I was chatting and joking with a few minutes ago are all gone in a most anguishing way. This world is a vain" A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said more tha n eighty persons were in the hall when the cable came down. The resident said: “The whole thing happened within a minute or two. It happened about 9:48pm. Those that died have been taken to the mortuary. A few that survived have been taken to hospitals.”

However, the Police Public Relations Officer, Cross River state Command, Irene Ugbo, have said that at least seven people were killed at a viewing centre in Calabar.
She said the incident left 10 persons seriously injured
The police spokesperson said the injured persons are currently receiving treatment at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
“We have one person in the intensive care in the hospital,” she said.
Ms. Ugbo also told Premium Times that the victims died on the spot when an electricity cable fell on top of the make-shift house that was used as a viewing centre.
The house is said to have been constructed mostly with corrugated zinc.
Meanwhile, Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state has described as tragic and horrifying the loss of several lives at a viewing centre in Calabar, the state capital.

Ayade, according to a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Chief Press, Christian Ita, said the incident marks a dark chapter in the life of the state.
A horrified Ayade said it was heartwrenching that the lives of the young men were lost in such a gripping manner.
While commiserating with the families of the victims of the tragedy, the governor promised that the state government will look into the likely cause of the incident with a view to preventing a reccurence.

Olajumoke Orisagamu "the bread seller" opens up on her journey from the streets to stardom

Popularly known as "Jumoke the bread Seller", Olajumoke Orisagamu , mother of two and a native of Osun state talks about her journey from the streets to stardom

The bread hawker-turn-model opened up on her journey from streets to stardom

abcdefgWhat are your childhood experiences?

I remember mostly the birthdays and the Christmas periods. My mother made an effort to make them memorable for the family in her own way with the little that she had. It was fun growing up with my family even though we struggled as well. I also remember there were times we had to go hungry. However, I thank God for where I am now.

What were your childhood ambitions?

Growing up as a child, I wanted to get married early so that I could help my mother. I also fancied being an actress even though it seemed way out of my reach. Several times, I would imagine myself on TV screens.

What were your expectations when you initially moved to Lagos?

The plan for moving to Lagos was to work hard and take care of my children and also assist my family back home in Osun State. I had heard people describe Lagos as a land of opportunities, so I moved to Lagos in search of greener pastures for my family.

On the morning of the day you photobombed Tinie Tempah’s photo shoot, what were your original plans for that day?

My plan, as usual for the day, was to go out and sell all my bread and probably restock to sell some more.

Can you take us through what actually happened from the moment you walked into the photo session to the point where the picture became popular?

I was going about my business selling bread when I walked past the photo shoot and went my way; I didn’t regard it as anything extraordinary. Days later, as I was hawking on the street, I heard someone call out omo oni buredi (bread seller). I turned around quickly, hoping it was a customer who wanted to buy bread. The man who called me then told me that a woman had been looking for me and he directed me to TY Bello’s office. As I approached the office, millions of thoughts rushed through my mind because I wasn’t sure why a woman I didn’t know could be looking for me. A part of me was scared and another part of me hoped she would buy all my bread. I got to her office and she was so excited to see me. She told me she had been searching for me even as she gave me food and told me to feel at home. She spoke with me in my mother tongue and that put me at ease. She asked if I didn’t mind if she took pictures of me. I didn’t know why she wanted a picture of me but I told her she could. She then said I should discuss with my husband that she would like to help me build a career as a model. My husband was sceptical at first as he was concerned about my safety but he later gave his consent. She had my shoot for ThisDay Style magazine and that was how the journey began.

What was your reaction when you were first told to pose for pictures?

It was strange for me at first because I hardly took pictures before that time and I could not really understand the big deal about taking pictures.

Had people always been telling you before that you are photogenic?

I was not in many pictures before I met TY Bello, so I didn’t get many comments about being photogenic or not.

Do you still interact with your colleagues at the bakery?

Yes, I do so occasionally. We were friends back then and that has not changed. The difference now is that my new life comes with a lot of responsibilities and hard work necessary to build my career, so I don’t have a lot of time on my hands.

Can you tell us about all the brand ambassador deals you have?

I have a brand ambassador deal with Payporte as their 1k Store brand ambassador. I’m a brand ambassador for Shirley’s Confectioneries, and I have brand affiliation with Stanbic IBTC.

In what ways has Sujimoto assisted  you?

Sujimoto gave me the house where my family lives now. He has been very supportive of me.

Sujimoto has been like a father to me. His impact on my life has been huge. He has been there to guide me and advise me. He is very approachable and he always creates time to give me audience despite his busy schedule.

Did you ever imagine that you would live this kind of life?

I never imagined I would live this kind of life at all. I mean, as a child, you could daydream once in a while but I never knew it will come to reality  one day.

What talents and skills do you have?

I’m very good at acting and modelling is now part of me as well.

If you are to establish a company, what kind of business will you like to invest in?

Truthfully, I think I’ll go into confectioneries.

How well have your kids adjusted to your new life?

My kids have had no problem adjusting to this new life. In fact, they enjoy it.

Is Stanbic IBTC still paying your children’s school fees?

Yes, they are.

How has your fame impacted on your relationship with your husband?

My relationship with my husband has not changed; the fame has had nothing to do with my relationship with my husband. However, we have both had to make adjustments. Like every other relationship, we have our normal differences from time to time.

What job does your husband do now?

My husband’s life is private. He isn’t the one in the limelight.

What’s the most memorable thing that has happened to you since you became famous?

The scholarship given to my children by Stanbic IBTC and being able to earn enough money to take care of my family.

Where is the most interesting place you’ve been to since you became popular?

The Cruise&CHillz boat party in October last year at Lekki, Lagos. It was so much fun and I met a lot of people.

What are your likes and dislikes?

My likes include honesty and humility. I dislike dishonesty, lies and pride

How do you relax?

I watch movies or I sleep. I feel there’s nothing as relaxing as a good sleep.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I like denims and short dresses. I think my style is a bit uptown but most importantly, I wear whatever I feel most comfortable in. I am still learning about fashion trends and getting better.

What is the most important lesson that your experience has taught you?

There’s no such thing as impossibility. It is very important to remain humble, work hard, be good and keep trusting in God.

What are the challenges that you currently face?

I have had to learn a lot at once, modelling for the runway and taking pictures, as well as new language acquisition. I have had to adjust to being comfortable in front of the camera. Sometimes, it is difficult for me to meet up with so many expectations given a very limited time.

What would you consider as your achievements since you became a popular person?

I participated in  a personality building programme at Poise School and for me, that is a big deal. I have also met people I never thought I would meet in my life. I have been able to secure my children’s education; a privilege that I didn’t have at their age. I represent big brands now and I am currently studying and also learning a number of skills. I have a voice and a story that inspires people and most importantly, I have people who I do not know personally who love me and are very passionate about my success.

Do you have any substantial investment?

That is my personal life and I prefer not to discuss that here.

People are insinuating that you are now pompous and hard to reach, what do you have to say about that?

I am still Olajumoke. I know how I got to where I am now and I do not intend to forget my roots. The truth is that I now have a very challenging schedule and I have to manage that and maintain my home so I now have less time for myself. My management is keeping me really busy between my language lectures, modelling lectures, make-up classes with Zaron Cosmetics, ambassadorial duties and modelling jobs. I apologise to anyone who thinks I have an attitude but there’s a price to pay for upliftment and I can’t disappoint those who helped me get here and who are working hard to ensure that I am successful.
