LASPOTECH To Hold Exams For SPTS-R Students Despite Ongoing Strike

The Lagos State polytechnic staff unions  (ASUP,SSANIP,NASU) resumed the suspended strike action after the expiration of the 21days ultimatum given to the management to respond to their requests.

The 21days ultimatum however has elapsed on the 4th of June 2017, the indefinite strike  resumed on 5th of June, 2017.

All normal academic and non-academic activities would not hold on all campuses.

On Monday, 5th of June, all full time students were sent home from the Isolo and Ikorodu campuses of the school. By today, 6th of June, all of the campuses have been shut down, all academic activities and non-academic activities have been shut down in the campuses while all online activities continues.

According to reports from the President of the Nabams Department and the Director of Studies, Dr. Aminu, the ongoing strike might not affect the Weekend Part-Time students, that is, the school of SPTS-R. Their exams initially scheduled to hold on the 10th of June would still take place despite the ongoing strike.
